Position: Program Coordinator
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Dir. of Programme & Communications
Salary Range: Competitive

Job Summary

The Program Coordinator will play a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating GreenSpark Alliance’s programs. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will coordinate logistics, support partnerships, and ensure program goals align with our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budgets.
  • Coordinate workshops, events, and outreach activities in collaboration with team members and partners.
  • Monitor program outcomes, collect data, and prepare reports for funders and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with community groups, schools, volunteers, and donors to foster partnerships.
  • Represent GreenSpark Alliance at meetings, conferences, and networking events.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain program records, databases, and documentation.
  • Assist in grant writing, fundraising efforts, and marketing materials.

Other Duties

  • Support the development of new initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Program Manager/Director.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Non-Profit Management, Social Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Passion for sustainability, community engagement, and social impact.

Desirable

  • Experience with grant writing, fundraising, or impact measurement.
  • Knowledge of environmental policies or education programs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings/weekends.
