Position: Fundraising Manager
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Executive Director
Salary Range: Competitive

Job Summary

The Fundraising Manager will lead GreenSpark Alliance’s fundraising strategy, securing financial support from donors, grants, corporate sponsors, and events. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and a passion for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a diversified fundraising plan to meet annual revenue targets.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Oversee grant applications, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Donor Engagement

  • Manage donor stewardship programs, including acknowledgments, updates, and recognition.
  • Organize fundraising events (e.g., galas, campaigns) to engage supporters.

Team Collaboration

  • Work with the communications team to create compelling fundraising materials.
  • Train and support staff/volunteers in fundraising best practices.

 

Other Duties

  • Support the development of new initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Program Manager/Director.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

  • 3+ years of fundraising experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Proven track record of securing grants and managing donor relationships.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of environmental/sustainability causes.
  • Experience with digital fundraising platforms.
