Position: Volunteer Coordinator
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Executive Director
Salary Range: Competitive

Job Summary

The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support GreenSpark Alliance’s programs and events. This role requires strong organizational skills and a passion for community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers for programs, events, and campaigns.
  • Maintain a volunteer database and schedule assignments.

Engagement & Retention

  • Organize recognition events and feedback sessions to retain volunteers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries.

Collaboration

  • Work with program teams to identify volunteer needs.
  • Ensure volunteers adhere to organizational policies.

Other Duties

  • Support the development of new initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Program Manager/Director.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years in volunteer coordination or community engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve.

Desirable

  • Experience with environmental or education programs.
  • Proficiency in volunteer management software.
